Unleash your creativity! We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing and communications team. You will assist in creating professional, eye-catching designs for digital, print, and marketing projects. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about visual storytelling, eager to grow your portfolio, and excited to work in a collaborative environment. This position reports to the Senior Graphic Designer.

Your Responsibilities

• High-quality creative design for promotions, advertising, event materials, retail point of purchase, signage, social media content, and corporate communications.
• Execute projects with excellence from concept to final prepress, understanding printing processes and digital asset distribution.
• Prepare production-ready concepts while maintaining design specifications.
• Brings fresh ideas to projects while working within established brand guidelines.
• Build strong relationships and promote growth in all assigned projects and tasks you undertake.
• Maintain current files, ensuring artwork is saved and stored according to company policies and procedures.
• Embrace feedback and guidance through thoughtful revisions while skillfully navigating competing priorities.
• Perform all administrative tasks related to projects.

Your required Skills & Competencies

• Degree or Diploma in graphic design from an accredited college or university
• One year+ professional graphic design experience
• Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a clear focus on high performance
• Strong design skills in both print and digital mediums, and experience designing social content, IG Reels and TikTok-style videos are assets.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
• Professional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with Wordpress and Tik Tok Editor is an asset
• Photography experience is an asset
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and take initiative, adaptability, approachability, and openness to self-directed learning.
• Ensures accuracy, consistency, and high-quality execution across all design work.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, receiving feedback, and adjusting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Designs with the end-user in mind, creating materials that are accessible, engaging, and aligned with project objectives.
• Capable of working independently and within a dynamic team
